PCmover Professional makes transferring applications, files, and settings incredibly smooth—far easier than manual migration or reinstalling programs. DiskImage adds peace of mind with reliable full-system backups, while SafeErase ensures that sensitive data is permanently removed with top-tier security standards. Together, these tools create a powerful, user-friendly suite that covers migration, backup, and data privacy in one package. I've used LapLink twice on new computers I built and once on my daughters new laptop, all 3 times it worked out great, highly recommend it when transferring things from an old computer to a new one

This is the perfect deal for anyone wanting to backup, transfer and erase their hard disks. It works great and the lifetime subscription for the entire package is a god-send, given the high prices quoted for each of these softwares in the market. The softwares are pretty powerful and can help any system admin or home user transfer, backup or erase data in one go. Happy with my purchase.

Effectively moved most things over. iTunes, TurboTax were notable exceptions. The most critical piece is what connection method to use. Ethernet is NOT the best option though that is what Laplink suggests. USB 3 or Thunderbolt would have saved me 24 hours of transfer time. As it was it took over a day to move less than 1TB from the old machine to the new.
